Watkins Solicitors Raise Over GBP1,000 in Santa Run for St Michaels Hospice

On Sunday, 22nd December, members of the Watkins Solicitors team swapped their usual office attire for Santa suits as they took part in the annual Hereford Santa Run to raise vital funds for St Michael’s Hospice. The event saw Beverley Watkins, Gregg Burrough, and Catherine Haworth don festive costumes and join hundreds of others in a 5km run around Hereford city centre.

The team’s efforts have raised over £1,000, which will go directly to supporting St Michael’s Hospice in providing palliative care and bereavement support to individuals and families in Herefordshire.

The Hereford Santa Run is a much-loved annual event that fills the city with festive cheer. Participants of all ages dress as Santa Claus to raise funds for local charities while enjoying a day of community spirit and holiday fun.

Catherine Haworth, Head of our Domestic Abuse Unit, added:
"It was a joy to join so many others in supporting St Michael’s Hospice. Knowing that the funds raised will help families during some of their most difficult times is incredibly rewarding. Thank you to everyone who donated and cheered us on!"

At Watkins Solicitors, we are proud to give back to the communities we serve. The Santa Run was a perfect way to end the year on a high note, coming together as a team to make a difference.

If you’d like to contribute to this fantastic cause, donations can still be made via our JustGiving page: Watkins Santa Run JustGiving Page

A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Watkins Solicitors!
